Outdoor Areas and Courtyard
Since the reopening of the renovated Zwinger Courtyard, it is accessible barrier-free from all entrances. To reach the surrounding terraces with a wheelchair or a walker, you can either use the access via the "Wall" or take the elevator in the inner courtyard, right next to the stairs to the French Pavilion. In the Zwinger courtyard, directly next to the staircase to the French Pavilion, there is a public toilet with a wheelchair-accessible WC: door 92 cm, 150 x 150 cm in front of and 100 cm to the right of the WC, WC height 45 cm.
The public WC is open as follows
April - October: 09:00-19:00 hrs
November - March: 10:00-18:00 hrs
Museums:
The multimedia experience "Zwinger Xperience" in Gallery L is barrier-free and can be reached via the elevator from the inner courtyard or from the Wall.
The "Old Masters" Picture Gallery, the Mathematical-Physical Salon, and the Porcelain Collection also have accessible entrances suitable for wheelchair users. Further information and barrier-free offerings can be found on the websites of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden.
